The magazine Good Housekeeping, known for its brownie recipes and ‘how to organize your closet’ tips, gave readers a delightfully shocking surprise when they included a panel of 100 women’s favorite bedroom vibes in the May 2014 issue. Vibrators that were tested by these women, aged 30 to 80, included the Lelo Tiani 3, Rocks-Off Bullet and the Je Joue Mimi (the overall winner of the sex toy testing extravaganza). The cover of the May issue, which featured singer Kylie Minogue, only vaguely hinted at the saucy surprise that awaited readers inside.
“Vibrators are no longer giggly gifts for hen nights; they are serious aids to sexual pleasure,” says Good Housekeeping’s Health Director Julie Powell.
Nine out of the 10 women who were selected to try out these toys revealed that they were now more likely to use a sex toy/aid, and six out of the 10 women stated that they would not be embarrassed to own one.
